A forum?

In an attempt to unclutter everyone's inboxes, and still let people show everyone their responses, we now have a chat forum. You can visit it here. This is just to test the waters to see if people are willing to use it, with two advantages that I see at the moment:
1) No more inboxes cluttered with dozens replies of "Yes, I wanna participate" or the like.
2) No more problems of Who signed up for what first since everyone can see the replies and who did post first.

And it's easy to use. Let's see how it goes.

Hi,

A big thanks goes to all of you for participating at the Gee Gees badminton tournament last Friday.

We hope you had a great time, even though you had to wait for your games.

We've just stepped into the month of November and we would like to shout out to all the members of the team with birthdays in November and October.
Since Vu was the only October baby, we will include him in with us.

SBA Thanksgiving Tournament

An amazing turnout of our team members at the tournament this year!! 13 of us were able to have a great time at turnbull school thanks to the new U23 division opened by the SBA folks. Below are a list of achievements of our team:

Men Singles: TD Nguyen (Silver)
Girls Doubles: Jennifer Leung and Sally Ng (Silver)
Men Doubles: Francis Wong and TD Nguyen (Gold) & Andy Ng and partner (Silver)
Mixed Doubles: Sally Ng and TD Nguyen (Gold) & Olga Gabroussenok and partner (Silver)

Great news for all you badminton fans!!!

The University of Ottawa Badminton Team is once again hosting their annual "Badminton Fundraising Tournament" to raise money for our team necessities such as team uniforms, tournament cost , etc. For those who would like to have a challenge, some exercise, win prizes, meet new peeps, and over all have a fun time, come out on Friday Nov 3rd, 2006 !!!

A New School Year

Hi all,

I would like to warmly welcome all of you back to a "going-to-be-an-awesome" new school year. I understand that the grades that you had gotten in the pass year were not what you had wanted (me included), but it is a new school year, a new environment, and a new badminton season!!!
The team will consists of the to-be-announced team members, also 4 new team Captains: Andy, Jenny (Jing-Jing), Brian, and Sally. We as captains will do our best in
- making the team practices time well spent,
- organizing team tournaments for the team members,
- completing all of the administration work needing to run the team,
- creating and updating this website
- making you all fashionable with our taste in the uniforms,
- and a bunch of other things to make your school year a great one.

I know that we will have a great year ahead of us, and we will try our best to get use to running a team, of course it will be helpful if the team members will cut us some slack.
See you all in our first tryout (September 6 Wednesday, 2006)
